Bst Book

"This is a movement to unlock airway health from infancy — because the earliest signs of future problems often show up in how a child breathes, feeds, and functions. When we know what to look for, we can change the trajectory to help children breathe, sleep, and thrive, and grow into healthier adults."

Why This Book Matters

Whether you’re a parent noticing subtle signs — or a professional seeing patterns across your patients — this book will help you connect the dots and take action earlier.

You’ve noticed the snoring. The open mouth. The restless sleep. The teeth grinding. Speech therapy that doesn’t seem to help. Inattention. Emotional meltdowns. Crooked teeth—but old to wait.

Maybe those signs have been dismissed—or treated in isolation. But deep down, you know there’s something more going on.

Breathe, Sleep, Thrive helps parents and professionals recognise airway dysfunction as a root cause—and how it can quietly disrupt sleep, behaviour, growth, and long-term wellbeing.

It brings clarity to what’s often missed and gives families and clinicians a shared frame work for early action—starting from birth.

Why Airway Health Matters

Airway health isn’t just about being able to breathe. It’s about how we breathe — promoting nasal breathing day and night, and supporting healthy airway development through good oral function and jaw growth from the earliest years of life.

When airway health is compromised—even subtly—it can affect sleep, focus, mood, growth, and lifelong vitality.

Airway health is the cornerstone of thriving health and well being.

And the best time to unlock it is in infancy.

Why This Book Was Written

I started out treating adult snoring and sleep apnoea — including my own husband’s. But that journey led me somewhere unexpected.

Most adult airway problems begin in childhood—and go unrecognised.

Over time, I saw the same patterns again and again:

  • Mouth breathing and snoring
  • Teeth grinding and bedwetting
  • Poor jaw development and crowded teeth
  • Feeding difficulties and early weaning
  • Oral dysfunction that went unnoticed for years
These weren’t being addressed early enough. We were missing windows of opportunity to change a child’s future.

This book brings those pieces together — so families and clinicians can act earlier, with clarity and confidence.
